Hazrat Pir Syed Mehr Ali Shah Gilani Chishti Rah (born April 4, 1859 and died May 11, 1937) was a great spiritual elder of the Chishti family۔
(Birth)
    Hazrat Pir Syed Mehr Ali Shah Gilani was born on 14th April 1859 in Chishti Rah Golra Sharif (located between Rawalpindi and Islamabad) according to 1st Ramadan 1275 AH.

(Lineage)
    Hazrat Parsid Mehr Ali Shah Gilani Chishti Rah's son's name is Syed Nazar Din Shah Rah Ibn Syed Ghulam Shah Rah Ibn Syed Roshan Din Shah Rah while his father's name is Miso Mahmood. Sufi Bint Pir Syed Baha Dar Shah Rah Aap Rehmat-ul-Allah Alayh-ul-Allah Al-Ma'ar and F. Ghaus-ul-Azam Rah's Syed Na Sheikh Abdul Laqa has 25 letters and Imam Hassan Alayh Islam has 36 lines. Only one son whose name was Pir Syed Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Gilani and he affectionately called him Babuji.

(Education and Training)
     
    Hazrat Pir Mehr Ali Shah Gilani Chishti Rah started reciting at the age of just four years and also to recite the Holy Quran you need to recite Urdu in the presence of Khaqan.
He was admitted to the madrassa to study Persian etc. It was a sign of memory that he memorized and recited the lessons of the Qur'an daily. When he finished reciting the Qur'an al-Hakim, he completed it. The Qur'an had also been memorized

He learned Arabic, Persian and grammar from Maulana Mohi-ud-Din. His education was well received by his teacher and later in the family of Hassan Abdal. He enrolled in Shafi Qureshi's madrassa and in two and a half years he completed his education from logical journals to polar, grammar and principles to further lessons. He completed his journey there and completed it with Maulana Hafiz Sultan Mahmood

(Accusation and Khilafah)
    During his stay in Inga, he used to visit Maulana Khawaja Shams-ud-Din Sialvi Chishti Rah, Sial Sharif in Sargodha District with Maulana Faiz Sultan Mahmood. Due to this sympathy and love, Pir Syed Mehr Ali Shah swore allegiance to Hazrat Khawaja Shams-ud-Din Sialvi in ​​Chishtia Nizamiya Sulaymaniyah and was granted Khilafah.

    He is considered a great leader, Waliullah Hanafi scholar, and a staunch opponent of the Qadiani Marzai sect. He wrote many books in response to the non-Orthodox and Mirzai sects, especially Saif Chishtiai.
